Projects

Featured projects

"Web portfolio - raphaelromeo.com" (2025)

(Personal project)

I set out to create a sleek, fully responsive and minimalist web portfolio with smooth scrolling animations—all built from scratch using only Vanilla JavaScript and CSS. I took this on as a challenge to see how much I could achieve without relying on external libraries. This website is the result of that effort.

"Piloter un projet informatique" (2024)

(University group project)

The purpose of this project was to create a to-do-list application for windows using Python.

Task Master Pro

is a desktop task management application designed for Windows (11 and 10). Built using

Python, PyQt5 and QFluent-Widgets

, it boasts a modern and intuitive user interface.
The back-end of this application was made entirely from scratch using python sockets, and features an auth security system. The database is handled by a MySQL server.

"Self-monitoring Application" (2022)

(University project)

Supershell — A client-server application for real-time system monitoring and remote command execution. The Supershell Server runs silently on any OS (tested on Linux Debian, macOS, Windows 10), awaiting client connections to perform monitoring tasks. The Supershell Client, built with PyQt, provides a user-friendly interface for managing multiple servers, executing system commands, and monitoring key metrics like CPU and RAM usage.

"Mario JS" (2022)

(Personal project)

Mario JS — A tribute to the classic Super Mario Bros., built entirely with Vanilla JavaScript as my introduction to the language. Developed without the Canvas API, it showcases early exploration of game development and DOM manipulation. Although incomplete, Mario JS marked a significant learning experience in my coding journey.
